    Praise God and Blessings,

I did not know how to contact 'Pearl of the Islands Foundation Incorporation' only through this e-mail, so I pray this is given to your committee for all those involved.

On behalf of Praise Fa'amasino-Ahchong family, and from all families involved a big THANK YOU. She is one of the privileged teens from Manurewa Intermediate that was picked to experience this awesome opportunity for 2014.

We cannot say thank you enough to yous all at PIF for organizing and giving such a life-changing experience for our young teens. It is a life-changing experience not only for them but for us their families.

The knowledge they have gained, and for us is priceless. Especially about the importance of ANZAC to the whole world and the selfless sacrifice made by many.

The places they are going to, and the people they meet will always have an impact in their lives. They will never forget this awesome journey.

MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS AND EXTEND YOUR VISION..PIF.

THANK - YOU, THANK - YOU, THANK - YOU...

  3. On the 15th April 2014, Johanna Setefano, Cullen Pisa, Ba Phong Pham, Amelia Tuitupou, our Principal - Ms Cornwell and staff member Ms Schutt, from Papatoetoe Intermediate School left for Turkey on the ANZAC Tour 2014. Travelling with them also, were students and staff from Manurewa Intermediate School and Taner Basar from the Pearl of the Island Foundation.

What an absolutely amazing opportunity and experience. We as a school and staff are very proud of Johanna, Cullen, Ba Phong and Amelia and so appreciate the experience and life memories they will gain from the trip. To see all the photos and notes appearing each day on the Maori TV website made us feel like we were there with them. Family members could follow their children closely during the two weeks away.

I would imagine the ANZAC Cove Dawn Service on the 25th April. would have been the highlight for them all. The bonus for us back here at home was to see them live on the Maori Television coverage sitting in prime seating for the Service.

Our students will arrive back home so much more resourceful and will treasure a trip of a life time.

Thank you Taner and the Pearl of The Island Foundation for making this dream happen.
